Moreno Sáez “30-Minute Recipes”- Classic hummus dip with Torrezno de Soria shavings

  • 1 pack Moreno Sáez Torreznos shavings
  • 400g cooked chickpeas
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tbsp. tahini
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Salt
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 40ml water
  • 2 tbsp. honey


Open the pack and let the torrezno shavings sit at room temperature for approximately one hour. Fry using plenty of oil until they’re crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Hummus:  Wash the chickpeas. Blitz them together with the lemon juice (make sure it has no seeds), cumin, tahini, garlic, olive oil and water. Blend until you get a fine texture. Season with salt.

Serve in a bowl or plate. Drizzle with some olive oil and sprinkle with paprika.

Serve together with the torrezno shavings as a dip for them. Drizzle a couple of spoonfuls of honey on top.
